THE AVENUES
Developed and managed by Mabanee, The Avenues is the largest and most-visited retail, entertainment, and lifestyle development in Kuwait and the region. Spanning across a built-up area of 1,300,000 square meters and comprising more than 1,100 stores, parking capacity of 13,000 spaces and a unique concept design of 12 districts, each with their own theme and style, The Avenues is an iconic architectural destination.
His Highness the late Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, officially inaugurated The Avenues in 2007 with the 1st Avenue. As the legacy continued, 2nd Avenue then opened in 2008, followed by the other districts, namely, Prestige, Grand Avenue, SoKu, The Mall, and The Souk, all of which officially launched in 2012. As for the new expansion in 2018, The Avenues then added five more districts; The Arcades, Grand Plaza, Electra, The Forum and The Gardens.
The Avenues is the hub for international and local brands, ranging from retail stores and high-end brands to exquisite cuisines and unique entertainment experiences.
The Avenues covers a gross land area of 360,000 square meters with over 1,100 stores and a spacious multi-level parking lot with a capacity for 13,000 cars. Additionally, The Avenues includes two hotels, four-star Hilton Garden Inn - Kuwait which opened its doors in 2019, and five-star Waldorf Astoria which opened its doors in August 2022.
